The following article The Benefits Of Colloidal Silver: The Most Potent Natural Antibiotic was originally published on Holistic Health Coach Fabrizio Fusco A common antibiotic can kill perhaps a half-dozen different germs. Colloidal silver kills some 650 different pathogens. And resistant strains fail to develop. Moreover, silver is virtually non-toxic. Silver is the best germ fighter we have. How Colloidal Silver works Colloidal silver is a powerful, natural “antibiotic” to be used against every kind of infection. It has the potential to kill 650 different micro-organisms, many of which are associated with human diseases. The presence of colloidal silver near a bacterium, virus, fungus or any other single celled pathogen disables its oxygen metabolism enzyme, its chemical lung, so to say. Within a few minutes (about six minutes), the pathogen suffocates and dies. Then it is cleared out of the body by the immune, lymphatic and elimination systems. Unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics, which destroy beneficial enzymes, colloidal silver leaves these tissue-cell enzymes intact, as they are radically different from the enzymes of primitive single-celled life. Thus colloidal silver is absolutely safe for humans, reptiles, plants and all multi-celled living matter. We have all heard of the “super-germs” that are resistant to most modern antibiotics. This isn't the case with colloidal silver, indeed single- celled pathogens cannot mutate into silver- resistant forms, as happens with conventional antibiotics. Therefore, no tolerance to colloidal silver would develop through mutation. Also, colloidal silver has not been demonstrated to interact or interfere with other medicines being taken. It truly is a safe, natural remedy for many diseases. Unlike conventional antibiotics, colloidal silver doesn't have a significant impact on the beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract and intestines. However, to be prudent, I recommend supplementing with a probiotic when using any silver product on a regular basis or when using a silver product abundantly on a short-term basis. Indeed, it's often advisable to supplement with a probiotic regardless of whether you are using a silver product or not. Check out my online healthy food& supplements store to purchase colloidal silver and find out a list of healthy foods and supplements that I recommend. Why Colloidal Silver is not used today Colloidal silver was in common use until 1938. It was used by physicians as a mainstream antibiotic treatment and was considered quite “high-tech.” Production methods, however, were costly. The pharmaceutical industry moved in, causing colloidal research to be set aside in favor of fast working and financially lucrative drugs. Since this monopoly has been established, colloidal silver is not recognized at all as a powerful natural antibiotic. It can only be sold and advertised as a supplement. Also, traditional medicine tries to discourage the use of silver by taking into account the risk of skin discoloration called argyria. While this risk actually exists, it is really difficult to overdose and cause your skin to become blue-grayish. The few cases of argyria that exist are the result of extremely irresponsible practices. “Even the most powerful pharmaceutical antibiotics are effective against only a small number of microorganisms, and then only until drug-resistant strains develop. Yet, research at Washington University School of Medicine has shown that silver is bactericidal to nearly 650 different disease-causing organisms, and that silver–resistant bacteria strains do not develop." – Science Digest "I know of no microbe that is not killed in laboratory experiments in six minutes." – Dr. Henry Crooks “Larry C. Ford, MD, documented over 650 different disease-causing pathogens that were destroyed in minutes when exposed to small amounts of silver.” – Dr. Axe [img]http://3wnwft2a77e36rfkz39dows1.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/FF-Feb02-inline.jpg How to use Colloidal Silver The main method to take colloidal silver is oral administration. However, this powerful mineral can be used in many other ways as well. 1. Oral Administration Taken orally, the silver solution is absorbed from the mouth into the bloodstream, then transported quickly to the body cells. A regular daily intake as a protection enhances the immunity system since is like having a second defense system. During acute infections (flu, sore throat, cold, ...) a higher dosage is able to quickly fight off the pathogens. The directions reported on the product often refer to the safe amount to be taken using it daily for the whole life. For a short term use (at most 10 days) to fight off acute infections, you can safely use up to ten times that amount. If your body is extremely ill or toxic, don't be in a hurry to clear up everything at once. If pathogens are killed off too quickly, the body's five eliminatory channels (liver, kidneys, skin, lungs and bowel) may be temporarily overloaded, causing flu-like conditions, headache, extreme fatigue, dizziness, nausea or aching muscles. Regular bowel movements are a must in order to relieve the discomforts of detoxification. 2. Nasal Spray Misters Colloidal silver is also sold in nasal spray misters to reach the sinuses and nasal passages. 3. Spray Bottles Spray bottles have been used for topical use on skin, sore throat, eyes, burns, etc. 4. Colloidal Silver Cream For topical use, colloidal silver is also sold as a cream and can be applied directly to cuts, scrapes, and open sores, or on a bandage for warts. It can also be applied on eczema, itches, acne, psoriasis, bug bites and so on. Colloidal silver is painless on cuts, abrasions, in open wounds, in the nostrils for a stuffy nose, and even in a baby's eyes because, unlike some antiseptics, it does not destroy tissue cells. Wineries and vineyards in Chile's Colchagua Valley have been put on red alert due to wildfires in the region. Vines are Mourvedre.More than 20,000 hectares have been ravaged by bush fires in Colchagua this week, according to reports from Chile. The wine valley was on 'red' emergency alert on Thursday 19 January. So far, no wineries have reported any damage, but producers remained on watch as several fruit plantations, forests and houses have burnt down. Agricultural workers are being advised to stay inside as an ash cloud blankets the region. This week is the latest in a series of recent bush fires. 'We have had lots of fires this summer in Colchagua and Chile in general,' said Polkura winemaker Sven Bruchfeld from Marchigüe. 'A month ago two fires passed really close to our vineyards – just 20 meters away.' Bruchfeld said that it is 'too early in the season for the grapes to be affected by the smoke'. However he and other local producers are staying on fire watch: 'Each year it's the same disaster, and some are closer than others. You have to be really careful, and be organised between neighbours to help each other protect the vineyards.' Pumanque, Marchigüe, Santa Cruz, Palmilla, Peralillo, Rengo and Malloa are the worst affected areas, all ablaze according to the latest official reports. Volunteer fire fighters have been deployed alongside the national forest corporation, CONAF. 'The region has five forest fires ongoing at the moment,' announced CONAF regional director Pablo Stephanio Wednesday, adding that two fires in Pumanque and Paredones had now engulfed each other, creating one gigantic blaze. The combination of prolonged drought and erratic winds have seen the fire spread at a speed of up to 4,200 metres per hour. 'It has been an incredibly hot summer,' said Santa Ana vigneron Matt Ridgeway. 'But these fires seem to happen every year because of a lack of preparation and education on how to avoid risks.' Chile's O'Higgins region has already lost 42,000 hectares to bush fires this summer. Related stories:
Tension is rising in southern France after winemakers staged a day of action, emptying at least one tanker of Spanish wine and blocking a depot used by the wine subsidiary of Carrefour supermarket. January 2017 has seen similar protests.

Sixty protesters block supermarket-owned depot near Nîmes
Several protests took place in France's Languedoc-Roussillon region on Tuesday (17 January) against cheap Spanish wine imports. At around 6:30 am, 60 winegrowers blocked the entrance to Prodis, the wine subsidiary of the Carrefour supermarket group, in Grizan near Nîmes. The site is known to be used for producing bag-in-box wines. Some protesters then went to the motorway toll of Gallargues-le-Monteux, 25 km from Nîmes, to find lorries containing Spanish wine. A single lorry was found and its contents dumped on the highway. It is the latest in a series of protests.
'Our tanks are full and prices are falling'
They were protesting against 'unfair competition', according to AnaĂŻs Amalric, co-president of Jeunes Agriculteurs du Gard. 'These Spanish imports prevent us from selling our French products,' Amalric told Decanter.com. 'Our tanks are full, prices are falling and wine merchants are asking us to lower prices. This is unacceptable,' she said. In parallel, further south in Narbonne, militant winemaker group CAV has claimed responsibility for 10 winegrowers dumping nearly 25,000 litres of Spanish wine from another lorry in a shopping centre car park. The letters 'CAV' were found in the car park and on the truck, according to Agence France Presse. Also known as CRAV, the group has intermittently attacked foreign wine installations in Languedoc for several decades. Tensions are rising in the vineyard and protests are multiplying, as the region gears up to host the Vinisud trade show. 'We have not planned any actions for Vinisud,' Amalric said. 'Not for the moment. But we know that some independent winegrowers [selling bottles, not bulk wine] also want to take action and join us in this battle against unfair competition.' Last year, several wine industry leaders in Languedoc sounded the alarm over cheap Spanish imports. Some producers also hijacked lorries and attacked depots, but local unions officially condemned the violence. Critics have said that French winemakers must accept competition from other EU member states. But some Languedoc winemakers claim that fewer taxes in Spain make competition unfair.
